CAR SAFETY SEAT WORKSHOPS
Orange County Sheriff's Office, Children's Safety village, Safe Kids Orange County and Health Central Sponsor this workshop at the Strategic Planning Room on the Fourth floor of Health Central. KIDNEY EDUCATION CLASS
This is an ongoing Kidney Education and You clss held once a month on Thursday at 9 am.m. in the Bradtford room at Health Central. The class is open to everyone at not cost, and is offered in a comfortable group setting, and family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend. The two-hour sessions are run by DavVitas's experienced health care professionals, including nurses, social workers, dietitians and thechnicians. FAMILY AFFAIR
CARING FOR BABY LEARNING SESSIONS
This course is for expecant moms or parents with new babies. This class will cover topics such as infant and child CPR, safecty, child development and more. Classes are on October 15 and November 26 from6:30- 8:30 p.m. in the Gleason room of Health Central. The cost is $10 per class. Class fee is included, however, if registered for the Childbirth Education course. For additinal informatin, please call 407-296-1440.
CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASS
Childbirth Education Classes are held at Health Central on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. Dates are Sepetember 17 through October 15 and October 29 through November 26. Classes are designed to prepare expectant parents for childbith experiences and will discuss topics such as prenatal care, labor an delivery, the postpartum period, breastfeeding and care of the newborn infant. The fee to attend the four-session Wednesday series is $75. It is preferred that the expectant mother be between 25-30 weeks gestation, since that time frame will easily permit completion of classes prior to the anticipated date of delivery. If the expectant father is unable to attend classes, we suggest that another relative/friend attend classes with the expectant mother. Call 407-296-1440 for more information.
